Lease, with a plan, for 30 years of land with buildings thereon and appurtenances, now in the tenure of Nicholas Maskell, situated on the west side of Stanhope Street, St Clement Danes, adjoining east on Stanhope Street, south on a messuage in the occupation of John Ponten, west on messuages in the occupation of Christian Bedwell, widow, and north on a messuage in the occupation of Tomkyns Dew. The following agreements are included:
(i) Maskall to spend £80 on repairing the premises before Michaelmas 1751
(ii) Maskall shall kill, dress and order all the black cattle, oxen bulls, cows which are to be exposed for sale at the leased messuage at the slaughter house recently erected by James Illingworth, deceased, on ground now belonging to the Duke of Newcastle in or near Sheffield Street
(iii) A heriot of £2 shall be payable on the death of the tenant, marriage of the tenant's widow, and assignment of the lease.
