Lease, with a plan, for 20 years determinable on six months notice if the ground should be wanted to widen New Street, of two pieces of ground situated behind two houses on the north side of New Street, St Martin-in-the-Fields, abutting east on the yards belonging to two houses in Rose Street granted on leases to William Swanwick and Dorothy Jones, and west on ground granted on lease to Thomas Argles, the premises demised having been sometime held by Dorothy Churchman as tenant-at-will. Appurtenances are included except the free passage of water and soil coming from the houses late of the Duke of Bedford and his tenants through drains belonging to the demised premises. The deed includes an agreement not to erect any building in excess of 12 feet in height.
