Text on reverse records that Field Marshall Sir Colin Campbell (1792-1863) Commander in Chief during the Indian Mutiny lived at 10 Berkeley Square, 11 Berkeley Square built in 1741 was the home of Horace Walpole, 4th Earl of Oxford (1717-1797) who had the hall door strengthened during the Gordon Riots, Admiral Sir John Norris "foul weather jack" (c1660-1749) and Augustus Keppel (1725-1786) painted by Sir Joshua Reynolds lived at 12 Berkeley Square, Admiral Henry John Rous (1795-1877) and Lord Carnarvon (1866-1923) financier of Howard Carter's Tutankhamun expedition lived at 13 Berkeley Square
