The indenture of lease dated 12 Mar 1825 of premises in Devonshire Street being the third house east from Carlisle Stree, the corner house inclusive, is now vested in Frank Stokes. A further lease dated 19 Feb 1856, of three properties numbered 26, 27 and 38 [?] on the east side of Horace Street (formerly Cato Street) for a term of 31 years is also vested in Frank Stokes. These two leases are now mortgaged in the sum of £200 for repayment within ten years.
