By a series of four leases all dated within February 1824, The Rt Hon Robert, Earl Grosvenor demised land in Gilbert Street to Seth Smith, builder. By an indenture dated 20 Jul 1825, Seth Smith assigned these leases to Sir Henry John Lambert who thereafter agreed to sell them to Alexander Baker who has now agreed their onward sale to Anne Thompson for the residual term of 63 years each from 25 Mar 1823 with a covenant for production of the deed dated 20 Jul 1825 |
