By a lease dated 1 Apr 1881, John Coutts sub-let the premises to Charles Martin of Central Avenue, Covent Garden for a term of 10 1/8 years from 25 Dec 1880 and, by indenture dated 30 Sep 1885, Charles Martin assigned the residual term of the sub-lease to Edmund Reed. By various mesne transactions and ultimately by indenture dated 30 Oct 1888, George Harker of 25 Philip Lane, Peckham, potato salesman, demised the residual term to Henry William Dyne. Edmund Reed and Henry William Dyne have now requested, and John WIlliam Rose has agreed to accept surrender of the lease in anticipation of a renewed grant. |
