Thomas Prout of 226 Strand, medicine vendor By indenture of assignment dated 21 Jun 1826, the residual term of the 61 years lease of premises at 266 Strand was assigned in trust to James Platt to hold for the benefit of Jane Kebby the elder. The lease dated 24 Dec 1822 will determine in 25 Dec 1843 and a new underlease is demised from 27 Dec 1843 to the end of the 61 term less 3 days year, without merger. ENDORSED 17 Dec 1850: 1. Samuel Kebby of Bromwich, Staffs, tea dealer, stepson, executor and beneficiary of the will of Jane Kebby the elder decd 2. Thomas Prout An underlease dated 9 Dec 1835 was granted by Thomas Prout to one William Lane for a term of 18 1/2 years less 5 days from 29 Sep 1835. Jane Kebby the elder died on 14 Jun 1849, probate of her will dated 20 Apr 1847 being granted on 14 Dec 1835. Thomas Prout has agreed to the absolute purchase of the residual term of the lease dated 2 Jun 1793. |
