John Perry and Leonard Hicks are plaintiffs in an action against William Meadowcroft et al and an Order of the High Court (Chancery) dated 23 Jun 1823 directed the appointment of a Receiver of the rents and profits of the freehold and leasehold estate of the late James Meadowcroft. With the approval of the Court, the premises at 43 Upper Seymour Street are leased to John Durfort for a term of 21 years from 24 Jun 1828, this deed being the counterpart lease.
