The lease to Thomas Couchman dated 18 Dec 1843 included adjoining land in Wilton Road and also another piece of land in Wilton Road with a cottage, stable and cow house thereon. The demise of the Windsor Castle was for a term of 40 years from 25 Dec 1843 and, for the second area of land in Wilton Road, was for 35 1/2 years from 24 Jun 1851. Since then dwellings have been erected on both pieces of land, now known as 1a-5a consec. Wilton Road and 333a Vauxhall Bridge Road. All the premises included in the lease to Thomas Crouchman are now vested in Susan Musk. Fittings and fixtures of the public house and goodwill of the business were included in the mortgage. The mortgage has now been repaid in full and, with the consent of George Henry Lake, the premises are reassigned to Susan Musk together with the fixtures, fittings and goodwill of the business.
