George William Marsden of 37 Queen Street, Cheapside, City of London, solicitor and William Samuel Goodwin of 33 Princes Street Leicester Square, glass dealer appeared in person to testify to the status of the deceased who, although unmarried, had lived for many years as the wife of Nicholas Conne, now decd, late of 33 Princes Street, St James, Wesmtinster who died 10 Jan 1850 and who appointed Susanna Eliza Bailey as the executrix of his will. Probate was granted in 1856 to William Samuel Goodwin with power reserved to Euphrasie Susannah Berlini, wife of Benoit August Berlini. On 29 Jul 1859, a further grant of probate was made to Euphrasie Susannah Berlini, now a widow. See 2310/010 and 2310/014. |
