Description | The Quadrant and Regent Street were designed by John Nash and built between the years 1813-1820. In 1848 The Colonade in The Quadrant, which covered both pavements, was removed, as it was said to interfere with the lighting of the shops. Nothing now emains of the old buildings, all have been swept away to make room for the present structures. Drawn and lithographed by E Walker. Coloured. |
