DescriptionView of the premises of W Pike, printer and bookseller. The shop windows are filled with stationery. On the pavement outside, newspaper advertising boards carry headlines about events in the Russo-Japanese War. There is a plaque attached to the facade of the building. The postcard caption reads: "Here 2, Blandford St, Portman Sq, London) lived Michael Faraday, the Scientist, during his apprenticeship, in 1804, to a bookseller". Now numbered 48.
