DescriptionPostcard of the interior of Westminster Abbey, looking north-west across the Nave towards the north aisle. At the centre of the view lies the Grave of the Unknown Warrior, and a large Union Flag hands from a nearby pillar. The caption on the reverse of the card reads: 'Nothing in the ancient Abbey Church makes a deeper or more poignant appeal than the Grave in which, in the presence of the King and Queen, the Princes and Statesmen and notables of the Nation, an unknown soldier was laid to rest on November 11th 1921, the 3rd anniversary of the Armistice Day which ended the Great War'.
