DescriptionThe Royal Princess Theatre was opened as the Court Theatre opposite the Pantheon, its heyday in the 850s under Shakespearian director Charles Keen was followed by further success in the 1880s. Ellen Terry and Henry Irving made their metropolitan debuts there,. It declined after 1890 ending its life as a warehouse before being demolished in 1930
