Thomas Halsey took photographs around London, particularly in Westminster and the City of London. Handwritten notes accompany most of the photographs and reveal some biographical detail about himself and his wife, Amy, who appears in some of the photographs.
Detail from the book shows that they were housekeepers at the Licences and General Assurance Company, 9 Hill Street, from 1954-1965. They lived in Little Shurdington Gloucester after his retirement in 1970. |
