Description | Group portrait of Pacie Ripple, Louie Réné, C.H. Workman, Marie Wilson and Richard Green in Act II of Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta 'The Gondoliers'. The group is photographed against the backdrop of a Moorish palace. Workman, as the Duke of Plaza-Toro, bows in the centre of the stage. To his right, Ripple, as Marco Palmieri, bows to the Duchess (Réné), while to this left Green and Wilson, as Giuseppe and Casilda, dance together.
