This charming picture illustrates the scene in which Strephon and Phyllis, the two Arcadian lovers, are reconciled, after the difference which has existed between them since feelings of jealousy were created in Phyllis' mind when she discovered her lover in conversation with his youthful-looking fairy mother'. |
