On the South Bank stand County Hall and St Thomas's Hospital. Across the river stands the Palace of Westminster, with Westminster Abbey and St Margaret's Church behind. Thames House, the Home Office and the Royal Horticultural Halls can be seen in the southern section of the view. The view extends south-west along Victoria Street to the junction with Artillery Row.
